Teton Photography Group chairman, Loren Nelson, returned from South Africa this spring after a two month self-guided tour of twelve South African national parks. “This was a trip of a lifetime and we spent less for 8 weeks than many people spend for a typical 8 day safari.” At this meeting of the Teton Photography Group we will discuss the planning, preparation, and realities of an extended trip to South Africa with an emphasis on photography in the national parks.
