Introduction to the Peer Mentor Program

The Peer Mentor Program (PMP) is more than 7 years old, and grew to more than 3 dozen participants until Covid arrived; that greatly limited the in-person meetings & interactions, nearly shutting down the program. Over the past year we have again begun our in-person meetings, once again focusing on the sharing of skills & experience that participants clearly value.

So the Peer Mentor Program is returning to personally meeting together, focusing on learning together.  We meet on the 2nd Tuesday each month at 4:00 pm at Meridian Trust to recreate the same supportive photography learning environment that we had built pre-Covid.  The meetings are built around photographers, from beginners to experts, working together to improve their photography.

An important ingredient in the success of the program is that the diverse community of photographers give support, encouragement, and honest feedback to one another.  We are always interested in expanding the Peer Mentor Program and we look for newcomers who are committed to improving their photography and are interested in joining a family of inspired photographers.

We welcome amateurs and all skill level photographers to come and visit our program on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 4:00 pm at Meridian Trust.  One or two visits will help you understand our mission, meet our members, and enjoy and learn from the relationships we have built.

If you are not presently a member of the TPC Peer Mentor Program and would like to join us, please contact Randy Isaacson (208-270-4298 or Events@TetonPhotographyClub.org).  Randy would be glad to answer your questions and invite you to join a Peer Mentor Group to get a feel for how the program works and meet some of the peer mentors.  We are glad to have any committed amateur photographer join us and Advance Together with Us.
