Early December Notes
With few exceptions, December is a “white month” in Jackson Hole. Heavy snow covers the mountain ranges and begins to blanket much of the valley floor. Ski resorts open and tourists return to take advantage of the white, fluffy powder. Days are short and often cold, but the low sun and reflected light often allows for all day shooting for photographers.

The Elk Reduction Program Began Saturday, October 27th in GTNP. Click the link to get more details. Consider wearing orange when in the hunt zones! The Elk are not trying to cross the valley floor to start the month of November, but with each new snow, expect more movement and more hunters.
