Tuesday, May 28, 6-8 p.m, “Sage Grouse, Icon of the West,” by Noppadol Paothong, Teton County Library, 125 Virginian Lane, Jackson

The Teton County Chapter of Wyoming Native Plants is very pleased to host Noppodol Paothong, an award-wining nature/ conservationist photographer of Greater Sage Grouse. They have invited members of the Teton Photography Club to attend this special event.

Co-sponsored with the Meg and Bert Raynes Wildlife Fund and Teton County Library.

Nopppadol Paothong will highlight the extraordinary life, natural history, and courtship behaviors of greater sage-grouse that he has documented over 17 years. He has published two national award-winning books: Sage Grouse, Icon of the West and Save the Last Dance. He will draw upon his fabulous  photographs to illustrate his talk.  Paothong hopes to increase the understanding of these impressive birds, and to further the discussion about conservations in ways that will benefit all – humans and wildlife that live in and near the sage-grouse habitat.
