Nikon D5 (and Nikon 200-500mm lens, etc.) on Sanibel Island

This is NOT a review! I picked up my D5 (Dual XQD version) and a new Nikon 200-500mm lens, drove home, then jumped on a plane headed for Sanibel Island, FL. I downloaded the D5 manual to my iPhone and was able to go through it some on the flight. The flight also gave me time to enter my copyright information and make all of my normal personal settings.

Passengers: 1/125 second, F2.8, ISO 1100. Nikon D5 – Nikon 24-70mm lens. I snapped off a few test shots on my porch before heading to the airport, then took a few along the way. Involvement Powers Improvement

On the last post I introduced you to Ed Deci’s theory of Intrinsic Motivation. Sorry to be so academic but it seemed like a good way to share something about motivation that is very likely to impact most of us. I’ll try to lay-off the academic stuff in future posts, but let me use Deci’s theory to make one more observation about motivating what I am calling the Growth of Novice and Advancing Amateurs.
