Spring comes earlier along the Colorado Front Range than in the Grand Teton Valley! Around here, the snow is gone and the brown winter grass is filling in with green grass. Some of the trees already have small leaves. Wow! I walked around in a short sleeve shirt in the afternoon today!…enough of that! Osprey, Bald Eagles, Pelicans, Cormorants, Turkey Vultures, and a variety of waterfowl have returned to the region. I created a new Featured Subject on my new site that shows a lot of current birds, all taken over the Saturday and Sunday of the Easter Weekend. Click the links to see all of the photos!

I’ve been busy taking new photos here in Loveland! I recently added four NEW Featured Subjects on my home page at MikeJacksonPhotography. I included links to them in this newsletter, plus a couple of the previous Featured Subjects pages at that site.
Readers here at Best of the Tetons should be noticing that I am concentrating most of my new efforts toward my new site, but I continue to add and migrate pages to the Best of the Tetons section on my Golden Studios site. Right now, not much is happening in Rocky Mountain National Park, but as the season heats up, I will add pages to the Best of the Rockies section.
